NINJA GAIDEN SHADOW WARRIORS

Ninja Gaiden Shadow Warriors was released for GameBoy 
in Europe (cit. Wikipedia) in 1992.

It was from the Ninja Gaiden/Shadow Warriors, Blue 
Shadow saga appeared on multiple PLATFORMS (NES, 
SNES, Arcade, Game Gear, Atari Lynx and later xBox, PS3 etc)

The main character is Ryu Hayabusa, a young Ninja who will 
fight the evil Jaquio/Garuda who wants to conquer the world 
with his evil cyber/monsters minions.

Also there's an anime called "Ninja Ryukenden", with the 
same skyline of the first level of the game.
 
Features:

-5 levels of hard hack and slash ninja fighting
-Multiple commands and moves (actually without external keys)
 for attack, jump, magic fire whirlwind and harpoon, 
 with joystick and single button!
