The plot Nanako’s hometown, the city of Ibh, was surrounded by four powerful countries (Land of Canutoz, Realms of Tuberya, Desert of Kekhalo and Hills of Pasokhulo), whose queens were continuously fighting for its control. The situation was overwhelming, so Nanako decided she had to do something! She asked the Oracle again, and he told Nanako that there was an ancient game called Biniax, which had been used by their ancestors to decide upon conficts involving land posession without bloodshed. The game, created by the Gods, had to be celebrated by kings and queens if any of the contenders asked for it, and the result of it had to me obbeyed. The game was played on a board, in which the contender had to remove a certain number of blocks following simple rules. The game This game is based upon a loose interpretation of Biniax, a game created by Jordan Tuzsuzov [official website]. We just added a stupid plot 100% Mojon Twins style and some spicy graphics in tritone and low res. Ace, uh? The gaming field is 5×7 pairs of elements. Every pair consists of two elements out of a varying number of possible types (colours). Player is a single element, who can move on empty fields or can take a pair, if the player’s element is present in the pair. If a pair is taken, the player’s element is swapped to the other element of the pair. The field is scrolling down after certain moves are spend (you can look up how many moves you have left before the next scroll in the TS display). You lose a piece of cloth is when there is no move for the player so you surrender pressing “R”. You win the round if you can remove a certain amount of blocks (you can see how many blocks you have yet to remove in the BLK display). In each fight, Nanako can lose up to three clothes. To win each contender, you have to clear three to five boards, depending on the contender. Each time you clear a board, your contender will lose a piece of cloth. Controls You can control Nanako using the Kempston Joystick or the keyboard. The keyboard layout is pretty standard: O LEFT P RIGHT Q UP A DOWN Use the “R” key to surrender no matter if you selected joystick or keyboard. Loading instructions Select “Loader” from the start menu and press ENTER, then Play on tape. The game will load automaticly.
